Aboriginal & Indigenous

Our Aboriginal law group has extensive experience providing creative yet practical representation for clients on a wide range of legal matters, including land claims, treaty and aboriginal rights under section 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP).

We have advised clients on complex issues related to the duty to consult and accommodate, indigenous self-governance, financing and other economic development matters, and the structuring of business organizations.
