Prior to attending law school, Jonathan graduated with an honours major in history and Russian from McGill University before beginning an MA in national security policy at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in Ottawa. Faced with the choice of becoming an international man of mystery or a cocktail mixologist, Jonathan chose the latter.
After numerous years working in Montreal’s restaurant scene, Jonathan got the itch to go to law school after meeting his now wife who was then a student at McGill’s Faculty of Law.
Since beginning law school at McGill, Jonathan has maintained his love for all things law and gastronomic as Vice President of McGill’s Food Law Society. When not reading about orchard fruit crossbreeds, Jonathan can be found adding extra butter to his caramelized onions and enjoying the lifestyle of a bon vivant.
