Matthew Diskin

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Matt is not merely entertaining; he is also a first-rate entertainment, commercial and intellectual property lawyer. By day, he is known to offer advice regarding civil fraud, business torts, contract disputes, IP disputes, and defamation (just to name a few). By night, he is known to offer advice on the finer points of Highland Scotches and the proper presentation of sartorial swagger. In between he handles international disputes regarding jurisdiction and enforcement of foreign judgments and foreign letters of request. An experienced trial lawyer, Matthew also teaches trial advocacy at the University of Toronto Law School.

Around the office, Matt is known for his keen strategic litigation instincts and ensuring that the associates know how to karaoke.
