Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Quick, name counsel at our office who has worked on concert tours featuring U2, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Give up? It's Paul.

Paul came to us in a cloud of dry ice and strobe lights as the former Director of Legal (and Rock and Roll) with Live Nation Global Touring. Before losing most of his hearing in the music business, he was counting his credits on numerous film and television projects in a previous life as entertainment counsel with a major Toronto firm. He also spends much of his time closing a wide range of transactional matters in connection with brands, endorsements, digital media initiatives, and other licensing transactions.

He counsels professional athletes because, let's face it, even this Winnipeg native was never going to make it in the NHL. Paul has also been an invited lecturer at the University of Western Ontario School of Law and co-hosted "The Law Boys" radio program on a local Toronto station.
